The Next Generation in Universal Waste Recycling

Spent lamps, batteries and ballasts, collected in Houston and recycled under permit.

We're a TCEQ-permitted Large Quantity Handler of Universal Waste. Our own vehicles collect from your site, in most cases within 48 hours, and every load goes to a permitted, State approved recycler.

Chain of custody

From your dock to a permitted recycler, on one line.

We ensure the recycling of our customers' Universal Waste and Electronics is compliant with all State, Federal and local government regulations. This is the route your material takes.

  1. At your site

You stage it. We put it on a schedule.

A weekly, monthly or daily pick up schedule through our On-Site Collection Program, or a single pickup when a retrofit or clean-out leaves a pile. We stock a large selection of containers for spent batteries.

  2. On our truck

Our own vehicles, in most cases within 48 hours.

We have our own transportation vehicles that can arrive at your location to collect the recyclable materials in most cases within 48 hours, and we offer same day pick up service. You can also drop off at the facility. Materials should be properly packaged prior to shipment.

  3. At Hempstead Road

    Inventoried, stored and staged.

Containers are inventoried and stored at 14730 Hempstead Road under our permit as a Large Quantity Handler of Universal Waste, which covers one year of UW Storage. We offer Secure Data Destruction either at our facility or at your location.

  4. Downstream

Final disposition at a permitted recycler.

Lamps, batteries, mercury containing devices and ballasts ship to permitted, State approved off-site Recyclers. From non-PCB ballasts, the metal components (copper and steel) are collected for recovery and reuse.

Lamp recycling

Intact or pre-crushed. All types, all sizes.

Our facility is permitted by the EPA to accept intact and pre-crushed lamps of all types and sizes, from straight fluorescent tubes and U-shaped lamps to mercury vapor, metal halide and HID lamps. All fluorescent and HID lamps contain small amounts of mercury, so every container is inventoried, stored and staged, then shipped to a downstream facility for processing.
